• Important: These malleable iron wire rope clips are designed only for non-critical applications. Your workload limit (LCT) and breaking strength (RR) are not as high as those of forged steel cable clamps and, therefore, are not suitable for heavy or high-risk applications.
• Suitable Applications: Ideal for use in fences, handrails, animal enclosures, and tying applications.
• Approximate Breaking Load: The breaking load of malleable iron wire rope clips corresponds to approximately 80% to 90% of the tensile strength of the wire rope.

How to use clamps for steel cable:

1. Place the selim on the active side of the steel cable.
2. O U clamp must be on the dead side.
3. Remember: the saddle must be on the live horse, not on the dead horse.
4. Use at least two to three clamps for steel cable to properly fasten the cable end. Tighten the nuts evenly, alternating between them, until the recommended torque is reached.
