Product Description

Eye hooks are not suitable for aerial lifting. Instead, they are mainly used to secure loads with transport chains and require chain accessories to be connected properly. These hooks are commonly used with grade 70 transport chains and grade 43 high-strength chains, making them an essential tool for load securing applications.

For easy identification, these hooks are clearly marked with the identifications “G70” or “G43.” They are popular due to their good compatibility with transport chains and high-strength chains.

The eye hook design meets the performance standards of United States federal specifications. Each hook undergoes a proof load test equivalent to twice the Working Load Limit (WLL). The breaking load is six times the WLL, ensuring its reliability and strength.

Types of Fastening Hooks

1. Eye Hook: Offers a permanent connection with the tongue.
2. Manilha Hook: Shackles hooks feature a pin or bolt that allows connecting shackles, chains, or other fastening accessories for a secure connection.
3. Swivel Hook:
   There are two types of swivel hooks:
   • Rotating Positioning Hook: Used to position the hook at the lifting point. It is not designed to support the load during rotation.
   • Swivel Hook with Bearing: Features a bearing at the top that allows rotation during loading, preventing twists in the lifting slings.
