Overview
Our synthetic fiber lifting slings, available in versions of polyester flat belt e polyamide tape, are designed for high-strength nominal loads, facilitating the lifting of heavy equipment. These straps offer reliable performance in a variety of demanding applications, ensuring durability and strength in various industrial environments.
Production Process
Hqlifting is proud to be one of the leading suppliers of lifting slings. Our two-layer flat ribbons are made of polyester threads ou polyamide high strength, using looms for ribbons from the Kyang Hye e Swiss Jakob Müller AG. This process involves a series of crucial steps:
- Dye: The straps are dyed to ensure proper color coding according to the Safe Working Load (SWL) limits. This includes heating and cooling treatments to increase the strap's strength.
- Sewing: The final step involves sewing the ribbons into constructions of single layer ou double layer, up to four layers. Security labels are added and reinforced eyelets are sewn to increase the durability of the strap.
We use only high-quality raw materials, such as polyester and polyamide, and we process them with advanced machines to ensure the best performance.
Manufacturing Equipment
To ensure the highest quality, we use the following equipment in our production process:
- Urdideiras
- Tears for Ribbons
- Ribbon Sewing Machines
- Dyeing Machines
- Sewing Machines for Security Labels
- Load Resistance Testing Machines
- Film Packaging Machines
Manufacturing Process of Double-Layer Flat Belts
The manufacturing process includes the following steps:
- Matérias-Primas: High-strength polyester is used as the base material.
- Weaving: The threads are combined and prepared for weaving.
- Weaving: The polyester threads are woven into flat tapes.
- Dye: The tapes are dyed to indicate the Safe Working Load (SWL).
- Measurement and Thermal Sealing: The tapes are measured and heat-sealed for consistency.
- Seam Stitching and Edge Finishing: The seam stitching and edge finishing are applied to form the final sling with end fittings.
- Inspection and Testing: Each tongue is rigorously tested to ensure quality before being wrapped in film for shipping.
Types of Synthetic Fiber Lifting Slings
We offer several types of synthetic fiber lifting slings, customized for different applications and standards, including:
- Lifting Straps with Eyelets on Both Ends
- Circular Lifting Slings
- Lifting Slings in Compliance with EN1492-1
- Lifting Straps in Compliance with AS1353
Each strap is specifically designed to meet specific load requirements and provide the highest level of safety.
Inspection Standards
Before shipping our lifting slings, we perform the following tests and inspections to ensure they meet industry standards:
- Raw Material Test: Check the quality of the material.
- Workload Limit and Breaking Strength Test: Ensures that the strap can support the rated load.
- Visual Inspection: Examine the tape for any defects.
- Finished Product Inspection: Final inspection before shipping to confirm the quality of the strap.
Applications of Synthetic Fiber Lifting Slings
As polyester flat tapes are widely used to lift aerial loads, especially delicate or sensitive equipment. Their lightweight design, combined with high strength, makes them ideal for applications in sectors such as construction and maritime transportation. Compared to steel cable slings or chains, these straps are more flexible, durable, and do not damage the loads.
However, it is important to note the potential damage to synthetic fiber straps, such as cuts, tears, abrasion, and UV degradation. Proper inspection and maintenance are crucial to ensure their longevity.
Important Safety Guidelines
To ensure safe operation, we recommend following these guidelines when using synthetic fiber lifting slings:
- Evite Sobrecarga: Never exceed the rated capacity of the strap.
- Proper Handling: Do not drag the straps over abrasive surfaces.
- Avoid Twists or Knots: Never twist, shorten, or tie knots in the straps.
- Proper Storage: Store the tapes away from areas with chemicals, ultraviolet light, or heat sources.
- Inspection: Always inspect the straps before each use to ensure they are suitable for the load.
- Temperature Range: Never use tapes at temperatures below -40 degrees Celsius or above 100 degrees Celsius.
- Protection Against Sharp Edges: Always protect straps from corners, edges, or sharp abrasive surfaces.
By following these guidelines, you can ensure the safe and effective use of our synthetic fiber lifting slings for your lifting needs.
Observação: Always ensure that lifting straps are properly tested, inspected, and maintained to prevent accidents or damage.
