Product Overview

Curved shackles with threaded pin are characterized by a pin that screws into the ends of the shackle for fastening.

The wider arch design of the curved shackles allows them to support loads from various directions, minimizing lateral stress.

Curved shackles, also known as anchor shackles, are generally interchangeable.

Curved shackles with threaded pins are ideal for use with multi-leg slings, connecting slings and lifting eyes, and for handling wider lifting straps.

Be aware that moving cables, such as those used in choke loop setups, can cause the threaded pin to rotate, twist, or deform, loosening the thread. It is essential to check the pin tightness before each lift. When using shackles with a threaded pin, ensure that the thread is fully engaged and tightened, and that the shoulder is in contact with the shackle body.

• All shackles with threaded pins are quenched and tempered; their bows are made of high-quality carbon steel and the pins are made of alloy steel.
• The shackles are hot-dip galvanized, with threaded pins coated in yellow or as specified.
• Meets or exceeds all specifications of ASME B30.26-2004 and RR-C-271D.
• The test load is twice the working load limit (WLL), and the minimum breaking load is six times the WLL.
