Product Description

We offer braided slings for general use and high load capacity. Our high load capacity slings are made of multiple strands of galvanized steel cable with an independent wire rope core (IWRC).

Our high load capacity braided slings are endless steel wire rope lifting slings made from a continuous length of steel wire rope that forms a rope body composed of six outer ropes surrounding a core rope. These slings are available in various constructions, including 6 x 37 (a), 6 x 61 (a), 8 x 61 (a), and 8 x 61 (ab) with a tensile strength of 1770 MPa.

The cable ends are embedded in the body, forming a loop. Due to the unique construction of a single continuous length of cable and the absence of terminations, the braided sling is the ideal connection between a hook and a load. Additionally, it offers the shortest lifting solution.

These slings are highly flexible, resistant to twisting, and easy to handle, making them ideal for heavy lifting operations.

Load Capacity and Safety

• Carga Mínima de Ruptura (CMR): 5 times the Work Load Limit (WLL).
• Safety Factor:
  • 5:1 for steel cables with a diameter less than 60 mm.
  • 3:1 for steel cables with a diameter greater than 150 mm.
• Load Capacity: Our steel cables have a higher load capacity than conventional Cable Laid Grommet cables of the same diameter.
