The 300-ton wide shackle is designed for heavy lifting applications, offering superior performance. This shackle features high load capacity, robust construction, and is equipped with a safety pin for greater durability and extended lifting cable life.

• Enhanced Hoist Cable Resistance: This wide shackle increases the effective strength of the lifting cables by at least 15%, significantly extending the lifespan of the steel cables.
• Versatile Use: Designed to connect high-strength synthetic cables, round slings, or steel cables.
• Premium Quality: All shackles are tempered and tempered for maximum strength, ensuring reliable operation under harsh conditions.
• Material Composition: Forged alloy steel for sizes from 7 to 300 tons and cast alloy steel for sizes from 400 to 1550 tons.
• Teste de Carga: Shackles of up to 300 tons are tested for strength with twice the load capacity limit. For shackles of 400 tons and above, the test load is 1.33 times the load capacity limit.
• Galvanized Finish: All shackles are hot-dip galvanized for long-lasting corrosion protection, with bolts and pins coated in yellow or customized upon request.
• Safety Certification: Meets or exceeds the requirements of ASME B30.26-2004 and RR-C-271D, ensuring reliable performance in critical lifting operations.
• Type Approval: The DNV type approval certification is available upon request for lifting equipment certification.

A wide shackle features an improved bow radius that helps prevent premature cable wear. Its high load capacity, along with a safety pin, nut, and cotter pin (counter pin), makes it ideal for demanding lifting projects. The larger bow radius reduces cable wear, allowing the use of lighter steel cables to handle heavier loads.
