Product Description

At hqlifting, all our curved shackles with screw pins are manufactured according to the highest standards, being quenched and tempered for superior performance. Each shackle features a high-quality carbon steel body and an alloy steel screw pin. The shackle body is hot-dip galvanized for greater corrosion resistance, while the screw pin is painted yellow or can be customized upon request.

Curved shackles, also often called anchor shackles, are characterized by having a large circular "O"-shaped structure.

With a threaded pin design, our curved shackles are easy to install and remove. Their wide curve allows them to handle loads from multiple angles without introducing excessive side loads, making them ideal for connecting multi-leg slings, attaching them to lifting points, or accommodating wider lifting straps. However, users should consider reducing the Working Load Limits (WLL, also SWL – Safe Working Load) in side loading situations.

The design of the screw pin is more suitable for temporary or frequently changed rigging setups, offering quick and efficient assembly. These shackles are not suitable for permanent or long-term installations.
Important: In dynamic lifting applications, such as recovery rigging, the screw pin may rotate or loosen. It is essential to ensure that the pin is fully tightened before each lift, with the threads fully engaged and the shoulder resting against the shackle body.
