Product Description

As manilhas curvas, também conhecidas como manilhas de âncora, são frequentemente usadas de forma intercambiável e apresentam um grande arco arredondado em forma de “O”. As manilhas curvas com pino rosqueado possuem um pino que se enrosca nas extremidades da manilha para fixação. Importante: estas manilhas não são recomendadas para aplicações permanentes ou de longo prazo.

The large, rounded shackle design is intended to handle loads from multiple directions without significant side loading, making it ideal for use with multi-leg slings, connecting slings to load eyes, and accommodating wider straps. However, the reduction of the Working Load Limit (WLL) should be considered when used in side loading situations.

The threaded pin design is more suitable for temporary applications or where quick and frequent connections and disconnections are required. It is essential to remember that, under tension (such as in a choked sling), the threaded pin may rotate or experience torque, leading to its loosening. It is crucial to confirm that the pin is tightened before each lift. When using shackles with a threaded pin, the pin threads must be fully engaged and the shoulder must be in contact with the shackle body.

Main Features

• All shackles with threaded pins are quenched and tempered, with a body made of high-quality carbon steel and a threaded pin made of alloy steel.
• The shackles are hot-dip galvanized and the threaded pins are painted yellow, with customization options available upon request.
• It complies with or exceeds the ASME B30.26-2004 and RR-C-271D standards.
• The test load corresponds to 2 times the Working Load Capacity (WLC).
• The minimum breaking load corresponds to 6 times the WLL.
