1 1/8″ shackle designed to support loads up to 10 tons. With a robust design and threaded pin, it is perfect for heavy-duty applications in sectors such as mining and construction.

Product Overview

As wide body shackles offer superior performance compared to standard anchor shackles. With an increased body radius, they improve the wear resistance of slings, allowing the use of lighter steel cables for lifting the same peso. The finish hot-dip galvanized ensures long-term durability, making them ideal for heavy lifting applications.

This anchor shackle high capacity is equipped with a safety pin, nut, and safety lock, ensuring safe lifting operations. The wide body design not only significantly extends the service life of the steel wire rope slings, but also offers a safer and more efficient lifting experience. Suitable for use with steel wire rope slings, high-strength synthetic slings, and round slings, wide body shackles are available in a variety of capacities, ranging from 7 to 1550 tons.

Main Features

• Increase the sling load capacity at least 15%, significantly prolonging the lifespan of the steel wire rope slings.
• Compatible with high-strength synthetic slings, round slings, or wire rope slings.
• All sizes are tempered and annealed for maximum strength and reliability.
• Construction in forged alloy steel for capabilities of 7 to 300 metric tons.
• Construction in cast alloy steel for capabilities of 400 to 1550 metric tons.
• The shackles up to 300 metric tons are subjected to test tests equivalents to 2 times the workload limit.
• The shackles of 400 metric tons and above are subjected to testes equivalents to 1.33 times the workload limit.
• Test load for tie rods of 300 metric tons and below is equivalent to 2 times the workload limit.
• Breaking load for shackles of 400 metric tons and above is equivalent to 4.5 times the workload limit.
• Manilha Arch hot-dip galvanized for superior corrosion resistance.
• Yellow-painted pins and screws (available by order) or customizable upon request.
• Meets or exceeds standards ASME B30.26-2004 and RR-C-271D.
• DNV Type Certificate available upon request (subject to additional fees).
