Short Link Chain Grade 10
The Hqlifting Grade 10 short link chain is designed for professional overhead lifting. Being approximately 25% stronger than Grade 8 chain, the Grade 10 short link chain is ideal for applications requiring a higher safety factor or where a lower self-weight is needed. It is versatile and can be used as a winch chain or for assembling chain slings. The Hqlifting Grade 10 short link chain is available in sizes from 6 mm to 22 mm, with a working load capacity ranging from 1.4 tons to 19 tons. All our Grade 10 short link chains are made from high-strength 8620 alloy steel, using automatic welding and bending machines. They undergo deburring, heat treatment, calibration, load testing, and are clearly marked.

Features and Advantages of the Class 10 Short Link Chain
- Composition: Made with 8620 steel alloy containing nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and aluminum, providing excellent fatigue resistance.
- Production: Uses a fully automated production process to ensure quality consistency at every link.
- Treatment: Subjected to quenching and tempering to achieve high strength and surface hardness, offering excellent wear resistance.
- Calibration: Each link is precisely calibrated to ensure uniformity, essential for lifting chains and slings. Links with inconsistent length can cause the lifting chain to skip or climb over the sprockets. For multi-leg sling assemblies, this can result in uneven leg lengths.
- Teste: Each link is subjected to rigorous proof tests, with a load of 200% of the nominal load, to identify possible weak points.
- Durability: Offers very high impact resistance, verified through a bend test on a V-shaped device. The chain will bend but not break.
