Synthetic Fiber Lifting Slings EN1492-1: Overview
Find 15-ton ratchet tie-down straps for heavy loads on trucks and trailers. We offer 10-ton, 20-ton, and retractable options, with sturdy hooks for secure fastening of equipment and machinery.
Our synthetic fiber lifting slings, available in polyester flat tapes e nylon straps, are designed for high strength and durability, making them ideal for lifting heavy equipment. Both types offer excellent rated load capacity, ensuring reliable and efficient lifting performance.
Double Flat Belt Production Line
As one of the leading suppliers of lifting slings in the United States, we take pride in producing double flat lifting slings made of high-strength polyester or nylon threads. These straps are meticulously woven using state-of-the-art machines, acquired from Jiangyin Qiangheng and the Jakob Müller AG company from Switzerland. Our production process includes dyeing, where the straps are heated and cooled for color coding according to the Safe Working Load (SWL). Sewing is a critical step in the production of durable straps, and we offer single, double, or quadruple layer straps. Finally, we attach safety labels to synthetic fiber straps and reinforce the strap eyes for greater strength and safety.
Main Equipment:
- High-quality raw materials (Polyester/Nylon, etc.),
- Urdideira (wire preparation machine),
- Ribbon weaving machine,
- Sewing machine,
- Dyeing machine,
- Safety Warning Sewing Machine,
- Load resistance testing machine,
- Film packaging machine,
Manufacturing Process of Double Flat Slings EN1492-1
The manufacturing process of double flat tapes involves the following steps:
- Raw Material Selection: High-strength polyester.
- Wire Selection and Matching
- Weaving: Preparation of weaving materials.
- Weaving: Precise weaving using precision machines.
- Dyeing: Addition of color coding based on load resistance.
- Thermal Measurement and Cutting
- Seam Stitching and Burr Finishing (including the application of accessories at the ends)
- Security Label Stitching for Synthetic Fiber Straps
- Load Resistance Test
- Film Packaging: Ensuring secure packaging for storage and transportation.
Synthetic Fiber Strap Settings
Synthetic fiber belts come in various configurations and standard seams, such as lifting slings with eyelets (ASME standard) and flat ribbons (AS1353 standard). We offer polyester ribbons, nylon straps e Dyneema tapes, each one adapted for specific material requirements. The most common configurations include olhal-olhal e endless tapes, designed with reinforced ends for greater durability.
Inspection of Polyester Flat Belts
Our inspection process ensures that each strap meets the highest safety standards:
- Raw Material Test
- Workload Limit and Breaking Strength Test
- Surface Inspection
- Final Inspection
Synthetic Fiber Strap Packaging
After the straps pass all quality checks, they are securely packaged for transport, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition.
Applications of Double Flat Belts
As straps with two eyelets feature a closed-loop connector at each end and can be sewn in single, double, or multiple layer configurations with shapes of olhal-olhal ou endless gaze. These straps are commonly used in lifting applications in sectors such as construction and shipping, facilitating connection to mobile anchor points.
Synthetic fiber belts are known for their lightness, flexibility e durability, making them a safer alternative to steel cables and chain slings. They are particularly suitable for aerial lifts and handling delicate loads, as they do not scratch or dent the loads. However, it is important to note that synthetic slings are more susceptible to damage from cuts, tears, abrasion, high temperatures, and UV degradation compared to metal slings.
Important Safety Guidelines:
- Never overload a strap beyond its rated capacity.
- Do not drag the straps over rough surfaces.
- Avoid twisting, shortening, lengthening, or tying knots in the straps.
- Never remove a strap from under a load.
- Do not attempt to repair damaged straps.
- Store the tapes away from chemically active areas, ultraviolet light, or heat sources.
- Protect the tapes from sharp edges and rough surfaces.
- Always inspect the straps before each use.
- Make sure the correct strap is being used for the task.
- Balance the load before lifting.
- Avoid using tapes at temperatures below -40 degrees Celsius or above 100 degrees Celsius.
- The elongation under working load is less than 3% maximum, and the elongation under breaking load is less than 10% maximum.
Synthetic fiber slings can be combined with a variety of lifting accessories to create a reliable lifting system.
Polyester Slings for Lifting
Synthetic Fiber Sling Lifting Capacity:
A breaking load (breaking strength) of flat slings with American standard eyes is 7 times their workload limit. The length of our slings ranges from 1 meter to 12 meters, and the M.B.S (Minimum Breaking Strength) varies from 14,200 lbs (pounds) to 15,500 lbs (pounds) (the specific values depend on the sling specification). We can also provide services OEM ou ODM according to the customer's requirements.
