The main features of shoulder eye bolts are:
Eye bolts with shoulder are designed with a nut and a long shank with standard unified coarse threads (UNC threads). The shoulder of the eye bolt helps maintain the strength of the eye and the shank, preventing twisting or bending. This added stability makes it the ideal choice for angular load applications, especially when fastening to thicker materials. These eye bolts meet or exceed ASME B3026 Standard, ensuring compliance with identification, ductility, design factor, proof load, and temperature requirements.

Safety Guidelines for Eye Bolts:
To safely use the eye bolts, follow these instructions:
- Always align the eye bolt with the sling. The application of side load can cause the eye bolt to bend.
- Use washers between the bolt shoulder and the support surface to ensure full contact with the surface.
- Tighten the nut properly to secure it safely.
- When using shims or washers, make sure that at least 90% of the threads are in contact with the threaded hole.
- Connect only one leg of the sling to each eye bolt to avoid overload.
