Main Features:

• Os Clips for Malleable Iron Steel Cable Type A are designed for light applications. The clip body is made of malleable iron, while the U-bolt and nuts are made of A3 carbon steel (check equivalent in PT-BR). These clips are ideal for creating loops or joining the ends of two steel cables.
• These clips are easy to use and are usually installed in workshops and workplaces.

Observação: Type A wire rope clips are suitable only for light use. They are not suitable for critical applications. These clips are ideal for non-critical use, such as fences, handrails, animal enclosures ou binding applications.

• The approximate failure load of the clips for malleable iron steel wire rope is from 80% to 90% of the rope's breaking load.

Important: These wire rope clips should only be used for non-critical applications.

The installation of wire rope clips is simple. There is a well-known rule to remember when installing: "Never put the saddle on a dead horse" (never press the dead side of the cable – *check if the saying is appropriate*). See how to install the clips correctly:

1. A dead end (cut side) of the steel cable must come into contact with the U bolt, while the clip body must be in active end end of the cable.
2. Use at least three clips for the steel cable at the dead end of the steel cable. The spacing between the clips must be at least 6 times the diameter of the cable.
3. The clip for the steel cable closest to the eyelet must be tightened first, followed by the other clips.
